Zones

Zones work with Geo-fences giving you the ability to set notifications and alerts within the tracking system.

Center the area on the map you would like to create a zone for and click 'Add new zone'

Give your zone a name and a description. Choose the colour of the zone by picking a colour from the wheel.

Click 'Create Zone'

A Triangle will appear on the map. Click the triangle to edit the parameter. The zone will now have orange dots around the edge. Click, hold and drag the orange dots to position and customise the zone. When you create a new edge, more points will appear for better customisation.

You can create as many zones as you need to.

Geo-fencing

Now you have created the zones you can configure the Geo-fences. Geo-fencing will enable you to set alerts based off the zones.

On the tracking page select the Geo-fencing page.

click to create a main fence. You are only required to enter a name at this point.

Once the main fence has been created you can now add your fence details.

Click to create the new fence.

Select your 'zone type'

Exclusion: A vehicle leaves the zone. This will cause a trigger on your home page.

Inclusion: A vehicle enters the zone. This will cause a trigger on your home page.

Max Speed: A vehicle exceeds the set speed int the zone. This will cause a trigger on your home page.

Timed: If active, the zone will record how much time a vehicle is in the zone. The results from this zone is recorded in the report.

Select one of the zones from the 'Zone Definition' drop-down list or leave it as 'Anywhere' to use all created zones.

Finally select the time and days you want the fence details to be active.

You can have as many fence details under your main fence as you require.
