Check Result Action Sheets

As part of the TruChecks system, you can record what action has been taken to correct an Advisory or VOR check item. This allows you to provide feedback on how the fault was corrected, what hardware (if any) was used, this will also over time allow you to build a picture of the most common faults on your fleet.

To enter the Check Result Action Sheets page, click on the tab (highlighted below) in the top menu bar.

The page will change to show you all check sheets items that have been marked as a failure, you can also see the Fleet name, check sheet no, Date of the check, vehicle registration, the Check items that have failed, the original severity placed on any item in the check and the current severity.

This page can be sorted and filtered in the same way as the Check Sheets page. The current severity is used to show that a check has been corrected or is in the middle of being corrected.

Any failed check that you have marked as completed will not show on this list, to show them use the Include Repaired Items checkbox  in the left-hand corner of the list of items to correct.

To look at and mark that a check has had action taken against it, once you have found the relevant check in question click on the show View Details button  This will cause the page to change and show the details of the check item (not the full check sheet).

This page shows you the details of the individual check item as well as allowing you to comment on this.

The top half of the page will show you the original state of the check, the bottom half allows you to say what is currently happening or has happened to correct this failure.

Action notes allows you to place any comments against the failure, select a new Severity, (Not Yet Completed, Not Applicable, Pass, Advisory, Fail) Who carried out the report (In-house engineer, Offsite mechanic) the date and time this action was taken and automatically who was logged in and took this action.

You can go back and change a check sheet item later if required, an example would be marking the failure as Not Yet Completed as you are waiting for a part and then changing this to Pass once the item has been fitted.

This is to allow you to keep a record of the action taken to correct a failure as well as when and who took this action. These sheets can be printed if required using the reports function.
